Tried to log into my account and my Yahoo ID is the same but my password has been changed and I didn't change it. How would I retrieve my password? I can't remember the answer to the personal question because it's been two years since the account was set up.

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. Visit the Sign-in Problems page ( http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot... ) and supply some basic verification information, such as your birthday and the ZIP or postal code you provided when you registered.
Make sure to provide the same information you gave during registration or when you last updated your account. Without the correct verification information, you will not be able to obtain a new password.
Reply:you might be stuck. this happened to me. I was never able to retrieve my information. When I tried again a few days later it said my id doesn't exist. I had to recreate a whole new accoiunt. Yahoo never responded to my requests for help

it said that At%26amp;t are partnering with Yahoo and that they are needing to expunge unused ID addresses so if I do not answer back my account will be closed. I don't recognize the web address and I am not sure how to directly contact he yahoo people for more info!

If you are using FireFox, then you can recover your password.
Just go to Tools, scroll down to Options. Click on Privacy (should be a lock icon), then click on the Password tab %26amp; then click on the View Saved Passwords button. The passwords you typed should be listed.

But it's not worth hurting him.

My gf sometimes would randomly go through her emails while I am sitting next to her randomly, without me asking. I think that is a more non-threatening way of doing it, and requires us to have integrity towards our significant other instead of just having passwords. It does take a good deal of trust to not go there with the passwords. We have the kind of relationship though where we are open with everything. Having a more trusting and accepting mindset towards the other I think would free him or her to want to be more open with you if there is anything going on or any temptations. We have that kind of openness, but it takes time to build that by not being judgemental with each other.

I don't mean cheating, but there are times when no matter how great the partner is you are tempted. The commitment is present when space is there for the relationship to grow. Ask yourself what is missing and broken inside you that needs to control what is going on with someone else.

I have heard that from a friend, well it makes sense to me. I mean the program might try some sequences in order to get the right password, and what is worse is that you can't tell if somebody has opened your email because he can simply mark your letters unreaded.

I want to get into my email without changing it.

I hooked up my Yahoo email through Outlook Express but it fails to connect because it says my password was rejected. I am not going to provide you with specifics but for the man on the street it requires a reasonable learning curve to be able to find out how to do these things WHICH ARE HIGHLY ILLEGAL AND WILL GET YOU IN BIG TROUBLE IF, repeat IF you get caught.
It is ever easier to catch you with the government programs designed to catch terrorists being used for ALL traffic going through the USA and UK and most of europe actually and probably china etc.
DON'T do it unless you really think its VERY important (ie life and death, or at least JAIL TERM)
