I have the sense that my email account is being monitored, i do not receive all my mails. Is there a way to verify that?
How can I know if someone broke my password and is spying on my email? How can I prevent it?
First scan your computer for key loggers using http://www.microsoft.com/spyware (it's free from Microsoft) and then if your computer is clean (if it is not clean, clean it!)
Then create a hotmail address at http://www.hotmail.com and send yourself an e-mail, make it look legit (say how your day was going...so forth) and see if it vanishes.
Reply:First do a complete scan of your computer with an antivirus and spyware program, Second call your ISP and change your email password (If it's not a free account such as HOTMAIL or YAHOO) if that's the case, just change your profile, your password and your secret question and answer. Third make a false account in your Contact list like 00Virus with servers POP3 pop3.null.com and SMTP smtp.null.com with this you will prevent that a trojan or worm virus starts sending unsolicited emails to your contact list, hope this help you out, :)
Reply:Change the password every week so they'd loose track.
Make sure no one hovers over you when you put it in. Never tell anyone what the passwords are because it could be that person or simply computer invaders.
