How do I password protect email?
Hi there. Depends on how you retrieve your email. When using an online service such as Yahoo Mail through your browser your account cannot be accessed without the correct username and password combination. This is true with all online mail services that I know of. If you use a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird the best thing to do is to password protect your computer. Don't share your password or your accounts with anyone. If more than one person uses the computer they should have their own accounts on that computer.
Reply:I think you are talking about encryption, I'm not sure how to do it, because I have never done it before.
