How safe is a yahoo free version email from people who steal passwords?
I have used Yahoo free e-mail for about 5 years. I store most of my downloadable programs there so if I mess up my copy I always have a back up. Also I store lots of photos on it for my friends and family to access.

I have always used a password that is a combination of letters and numbers and I have never had a problem.

Even though I have seen people with stolen Yahoo ID's I think it is pretty rare. Most of the stolen ID's are very old and had very simple passwords to start with.
Reply:I have had my yahoo email for 7 years and have never had a problem.
